Our Plan

In the first three years, Phase One of our Forward In Faith capital campaign focuses on four critical initiatives

1. Pay Off the New Bridge

This vital structure not only connects us physically to the community we serve and are committed to – the new bridge also symbolizes our role in bridging gaps between those curious about Jesus and our church body of believers. We must do this – without building a new bridge and paying it off, our church property is at risk of becoming inaccessible and Westtown Church is at risk of becoming financially insolvent. Let’s complete this step together, debt-free.

2. Expand the Foyer

A larger, welcoming space allows us to strengthen relationships, host community events, and foster deeper connections within our congregation. As we invest in and invite others into our church home, we must create a space that is accommodating and supports the many needs of our growing church and its ministries.

3. Upgrade Our Audio, Video and Lighting (AVL) Systems

Improving our ability to share the Gospel with excellence and clarity ensures that we reach both those within our walls and beyond through modern tools and technology. We are at a critical stage of needing to update our aging technology and equipment we use each week for worship and many other ministry needs. To invest in this area means to invest in our next generation of Christ followers, while still serving our faithful members we love and care for now–far into the future.

4. New Westtown Christian Academy (WCA) Preschool Classrooms

By investing in our children, we’re equipping the next generation to know Christ, creating a place where families can encounter Jesus and grow together in faith. At any given moment, WCA has a standing wait-list of over 100 new families–these families need Jesus in their lives. By creating new WCA classrooms, we are choosing to serve more children and their families, and point them towards Christ.

Together, we can prepare the soil for God to “yield His increase” in our church and community.

Forward In Faith is a seven year capital campaign at Westtown Church that is designed in three phases. Each of the three phases we have outlined speaks to the critical needs we have determined are necessary to foster future growth, here at Westtown Church. The intention behind each goal is to strengthen hearts and minds towards the love of Christ, engage our community by making the Gospel known, and provide opportunities for the ministry work at Westtown to thrive – far into the future.

Forward In Faith is a seven year capital campaign at Westtown Church that is designed in three phases. The total cost for all three phases is estimated to be $13,600,000, at this time. Below is a breakdown of what to expect for each phase.

Phase One: $3,600,000 (Years 1-3)

Why should I consider giving to Forward In Faith?

Every family and individual that calls Westtown Church home is integral to our success in funding our Forward In Faith capital campaign goals. By God’s grace and your faithful generosity, Westtown Church can continue to be a launchpad for faith, mission, and ministry for this generation and the ones to come. Through this seven-year capital campaign, we have the opportunity to invest in a few key areas by expanding our fellowship, supporting future generations, and ensuring our facility will serve as a beacon of Christ’s love for decades to come.

Can I donate real estate, stocks/bonds, and other non-cash assets?

Yes! In fact, for those who are interested and are able, we encourage these types of gifts – especially for the long term planning and benefits involved with these types of gifts. There are other options available for those who wish to make a long-term contribution or non-cash asset donations.
